dude, I got an '80 XR250 from some guy in Simi last summer. The 23" wheel is the ultimate curb-hopper...I say keep it. Also, I put a sissy bar on mine; otherwise identical to yours. have fun rockin' it. Happy new year. --Greg Gilday, LBC
the rim had some questionable repairs to it and I had a mint 21" off a later XR so I switched it out already. should be a fun bike once I get it tuned up and do a few mods to it.
