Finched
I changed up the knucklehead. The biggest change was from a stock springer to a rare single spring Ron Finch springer and spool wheel. When I got it it was rough and missing parts so its pretty awesome to see it back on the road and working like a charm. I also replaced the old hummer tank with a nicer one and painted the tins. More changes on the way...

Jeremiah rules!
I gave my trophy at the Hippy Killer show to Jeremiah from Love Cycles for his knucklehead. Not only is it a neat bike with a bunch of cool one off parts, but he rode the fucker all night in the freezing rain from Arizona to be at the show, arriving at 5:30 am the day of, soaking wet. Monday I get a text from him with this pic, homeward bound... awesome!

killing me softly
before and after pic of my knucklehead...it's not done, I don't know if it will ever be done. but it's done enough for now. The paint is shitty and some of the chrome needs to be re-done, but I just want to ride it. I also didn't have much money or as much time as I'd like to put into it, so I'm sure it will evolve as I put some miles on it...

Nuckin Fuckle
well, I've been playing with the idea of riding this thing down to Mexico instead of my Sportster. I guess it all depends on if I have the time to get it roadworthy. I've been lucky to steal an hour here or 15 minutes there...it's not movin very fast. On a good note though, the Khoury Coupe is heading home this week, so that will allow me more time to dedicate to my other customers stuff.

Grandpa Braun aka 5 Knuckleheads and an indian...

This is a picture of my Wife's Grandpa, Harry Braun(center) and two of his racing buddies from the 40's and 50's. We know he used to do Hillclimb events and suspect dirt track too, but we would love to find out more about him and his racing career. He lived in Wapakoneta Ohio and probably traveled within the Ohio area for races. If anyone has any info let me know. He also used to ride with a sidehack and went on to do tractor pulls with his own rig. We have a few more pics of him that I'll post one of these days.

Sunday:Shinyas shop...Azusa

Shinya invited me and my dad to check out his shop after the roadster show. I wish I took more pics, he's working on an MV Agusta 4 cylinder and has a new Knuck project and a neat Harley JD. This is the Needle and his Knucklehead racer, his new Ducatti 750, and a really bitchin Exclesior V-twin that he said is about 900 CC. Also spotted this cool Norton racer on the freeway, must have been a Norton meet going on somewhere. Great end to a busy weekend.
