No regrets

I lost my grandpa a couple days ago. He was 98 years old, and I know he lived a full and very interesting life, of which I got to spend the last 38 years. Selfishly I wish that I could have him here for another 38, he was my best friend, but I know it was his time, and the last couple years weren't easy. If you still have your grandparents make sure you let them know how important they are. They won't be around forever.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. My Grandpa quit school in the 6th grade to go to work. He was one of the smartest men I've ever known.

I see that one photo with Loren Greene & Michael Landon. Did he work in Hollywood? Screen writer? You have me interested.....

thanks Rich, he was a writer and producer. Also one of the smartest men I've ever known, and he was there for me when no one else was...

I kind of imagine how you feel.
My grandfather is dying of cancer and he is my everything, learned a lot of the guy. The waiting part is very hard, waiting for that call of your grandmother that he passed away.

Oh man, Richard Collins. His IMDB is huge. He was blacklisted! Refused to answer HUAC questions in '51. I can see where you get your stuff from, Dan.
