Sunday
spent sunday afternoon checking out a new(to me) burger stand half way between Ojai and Santa Paula called the Summit. My Friends Jack and Dave joined me, we headed from Ventura to Somis via Los Angeles ave, and cut through Balcom Canyon through the area of the Fillmore fire and into Santa Paula, there were some great twisty roads, and then cut through Santa Paula and up the Ojai highway to where the Summit was and had some Buffalo burgers and Dogs, pretty fucking good. Their Maple shakes are supposed to be great but I couldn't hang with a shake, it was too hot, so I had some fresh lemonade and some really good onion rings with my burger...then headed back through Ojai to Ventura by the 33, and headed home...

Panel Truck come home!
so I am supposed to be finally picking my '58 Dodge Town Panel up from paint on monday after what can only be described as six months of hell dealing with the shop that was painting it. I guess thats what you get for cheap huh, but it's only supposed to be a shop truck, not a show car, so I'll be stoked just to get to drive it again. I'll post pics as soon as I get the new glass, bumpers etc back on it....

Yokohama '08 pics
just found a few pics from last years show...
This roller coaster is part of a theme park outside our hotel that can be seen in the background. Half an hour before we jumped back on the bus to take us to the Airport, Keith Weesner, Tiffany and I decided to try to hit the park right as it opened, and ride Rolling Coaster Vanish! by the time we got there we had picked up stragglers, Cole Foster, Mark Drews, Jason Phares and Jimmy Shine. We were the only people in the park, it felt like Wally World. This is us about to vanish! into the tunnel...
the garage at mooneyes Yokohama filled with some familiar faces.....
crazy engraved fender...
This bitchin GMC was my pick of the show...
