awesome weather, maiden voyage for Rich's bike, had a little BBQ at the shop after with some carne asada tacos and beer. good weekend, but I'm burnt....

Jay gets wet. All over

Fuckin poured down at the Mooneyes Xmas party today. Amazingly it didn't ruin the day. Lots of cars, people and vendors still showed up. Jay rode his '49 pan from Pasadena and showed up lookin like a drowned rat. Then his throttle cable broke. Some gorilla tape and zip ties fixed that but the damn bike was too waterlogged to stay running. Still. Kudos to Jay for thinking he was waterproof. I think he's just stoked to have the bike on the road finally.

Hiro's garage

My friend Hiro from CottonPickin tattoo in Akita has a couple nice toys, a '32 tudor with a warmed up flathead and a new to him 45 flathead that actually came from Ventura(I even looked at it a while back) I was pretty surprised to see it in his garage. It has a magneto, and came in a hacked up frame with a triumph trans and an extended front end, but he's fixing all of that.
